After talking with my SO (significant other) about how Spotify always keeps us listening to the same music and artists, I decided to take inspiration from my vinyl collection and start a weekly album-listening.
The goal is to explore what artists have to offer more than just the hits and look at what the album is telling us. An album is usually built on inspiration from themes, happenings or a story, and I would like to highlight the whole project from different artists to everyone.
Don't worry about the albums being solely governed by my personal preferences or genres. I have a deep love for music in its entirety and want to explore every aspect of what the world has to offer. I'm not limited to anything, so you can expect to see albums from every decade and genre. Although I prefer the weekly albums to be easier to listen to for everyone, and keep the more controversial albums to get a highlight in the recommended section.
The name VINyl-HUB is a spin on the Norwegian word vin which means wine and vinyl, which implies that a glass of wine with music is absolutely a good combination. Please enjoy listening in your own way, with or without a glass of Barbera D'Alba.
